Have been using Windows 8.1 from the last couple of weeks. Best experience so far.
Especially the search functionality and the app/desktop switch is one of the best features. The other feature which is really helpful is the One note items Sync between multiple devices. Though it does not have the legacy start menu functionality, never really felt the need for it.
I feel Microsoft is getting it right, after a long time.
